Should children be allowed to get their hands all over a project as important as the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts? Absolutely!
Put your child’s handprint on the Children’s Wall being planned for the Kauffman Center. It’s a unique donor recognition project that allows you to leave a lasting impression on this landmark building. For a $1,000 donation per handprint, payable over five years, you can honor your own children, grandchildren or a youngster who deserves some special recognition. It’s a creative way for you to engage the young people in your life in the great civic and artistic enterprise represented by the Kauffman Center.
The Children’s Wall:
- Consists of one thousand children’s handprints with the name and age of each child.
- Will be artistically arranged along the escalator and stairwell in the main thoroughfare connecting the parking garage to the ticketing lobby.
- Uses actual handprints. We’ll provide details about how you can easily capture and submit your child’s handprint, whether they’re in the Kansas City region or not.
