George Benson’s career began at the age of 10 when he recorded his first song under the name Little Georgie. His career took off from there, and the years to come were full of success for the guitarist. In 1976 Benson released his album Breezin’, which won him the GRAMMY Award for Record of the Year. In 2009, Benson received the highest honor for a jazz musician, Jazz Master as awarded from the National Endowment of the Arts.

Kenny G began his career at the age of 17 when he played with Barry White and his Love Unlimited Orchestra. Kenny G rose to fame with his album Duotones. The albums Breathless- a GRAMMY Award winner- and Miracles propelled his career further. At one point he held the record for the longest sustained note on a saxophone.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of George Benson’s Breezin’ and the 25th anniversary of Kenny G’s Breathless, each artist’s set will feature classic album cuts and greatest hits, as well as songs performed together.
