Community Tickets
Opening Our Doors
Connecting youth, families and underserved members of the community to the power of the arts is a truly remarkable experience. The Kauffman Center’s Community Tickets program offers reduced or even free tickets to help local social service agencies, schools and nonprofit organizations do just that.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, PNC Bank and Evergy, as well as donor support, we continue to positively impact individuals through the Community Ticket program.

Free Tickets to Performances
We are currently building a network of local social service agencies to help us reach families with Community Tickets opportunities. If you are an agency serving families and children in the Kansas City metropolitan area and are interested in learning more about opportunities to participate in Community Tickets, please email us at opendoors@kauffmancenter.org for more details on how you can participate.
Kauffman Center Student Matinees
Student matinees cultivate a love for the arts in young people each season. The Community Tickets program subsidizes tickets for Kauffman Center Presents school shows bringing the cost down to $2 per person. This lower priced ticket opens the door for more students to experience incredible performances each year, many of which may not have had the opportunity otherwise.
Discounted Performance Tickets
The Kauffman Center is dedicated to making performances affordable for a wide range of diverse Kansas City populations, including students, senior groups, local educators and military service members. As part of the Community Tickets program, various ticket discounts are available for Kauffman Center Presents performances.
