Do you want to get involved as a volunteer at the Kauffman Center? The Patron Services team values your time, talent, and overall contributions to our community. From administrative support to participating in our usher corps, there are many volunteer opportunities at the Kauffman Center that work with your schedule.
Kauffman Center volunteers are invited to share their skills and love of the arts as they connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Volunteers help create unique experiences that surprise, delight, entertain and educate tens of thousands of people each year in an iconic venue.
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants should be comfortable working with people, be committed to working in a team environment, and be able to treat team members and guests with dignity and respect.
- Volunteers give permission for their photo to be used for publication and other Kauffman Center-related purposes.

All applicants are considered for the Apprentice Program, the selection process and training program for those interested in becoming Kauffman Center Volunteers. If applicants are admitted to the Apprentice Program, they will be asked to attend three training classes that cover the breadth of skills volunteers need to find success at the Kauffman Center, complete periodic online and in-person assessments, and usher right alongside our veteran volunteers.
