Kauffman Center Internship Details

The Kauffman Center creates opportunities for young professionals and students to grow their career skills while making lasting connections in the thriving Kansas City arts community.

If you want to apply for our internships, first check our jobs page for current opportunities. Submit a resume and cover letter to opendoors@kauffmancenter.org in either a .docx or .pdf format. Our more common internships include:

  • Facility and Events Sales
  • Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Development & Donor Relations

If you require a non-PDF version of a job description, please email accessibility@kauffmancenter.org.

  • Candidates: College sophomores, juniors, seniors or recent college graduates
  • Duration Expectations: 10 to 12 hours of time per week for 3 months
  • Compensation: A stipend of up to $1,500. College credit may also be arranged.

Make sure your significant and relevant experience aligns with the position for which you’re applying. We look for enthusiastic individuals who are:

  • Self-starting

The Kauffman Center also looks for individuals who have strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in proofreading abilities.
